Stuck on What to Get Someone? Here's What Actually Works.

We've all done it left the gift shopping a bit late, ended up panic-buying something perfectly fine but a bit forgettable.

Nothing wrong with that. But if you've got a little time and you want to get something more personal that they'll keep, use and genuinely love here's a simple guide.

For the homebody

An art tile is a really good bet. It's a handmade piece, using a reproduction of my art, but it doesn't require a huge wall or a big commitment. It can sit on a shelf, hang in the bathroom, live on the bedside table.

It's personal without being presumptuous. And it's something they probably wouldn't buy for themselves, which is the sweet spot for a gift.

For the traveller
